Lyon Zoo

The Lyon Zoo features an assortment of birds and animals.  It is a popular tourist attraction for the young and the young-at-heart.

The zoo is located in Parc de la Tete d'Or which is also home to Lyon's botanical gardens.

Parc de la Tete d'Or can be reached by trolley bus from the Gare de Part-Dieu train station.  Alternatively, one can enjoy a pleasant hike to the park along the south side of the Rhone River.
